New painting on the horizon…

REALLY!!!

My dear friend, Michael, has asked me to create a piece for him.  He’s the Director of Worship at our church, so he thought something that represents ‘worship’ would be appropriate…. and I totally agree!  There’s not any theme better for me than that… because all my pieces are a way for me to worship God and celebrate the gifts He has bestowed in me.

Michael’s gift is music… he’s extraordinary! So, this piece includes piano keys, measures of his favorite song and the phrase, Soli Deo gloria, which translates to “Glory to God alone.” He says that this phrase is one that Bach wrote at the end of all his pieces… very cool!
